THE Advertising Standards Authority will decide today whether to take any action on a Ryanair newspaper advert featuring a scantily clad “schoolgirl”.

The authority may ask the airline to change or withdraw the ad and, if this request is refused, can ultimately ask media organisations not to run it.

The National Parents’ Council (post-primary) have branded the ad “inappropriate” and accused the airline of sending out the wrong message to young people.
