DUE to the huge influx of Polish workers to the mid-west, a Warsaw-based healthcare company plans to open a clinic in Limerick before the end of the year.

The company, EMC, is also planning to build a small private hospital in Ireland to cater for the huge numbers of people who have Polish healthcare insurance.

EMC already has a clinic in Dublin, which is staffed by three full-time Polish doctors.
