Tribunal cloud could hang over FF

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern’s forthcoming appearance at the Mahon Tribunal threatens to overshadow Fianna Fáil’s first major conference since the general election.

The tribunal will resume public hearings on September 11, when Mr Ahern’s friend, businessman Michael Wall, will give evidence.

The Taoiseach’s former partner, Celia Larkin will take to the witness box on September 12.
