200,000th visitor to Glucksman

THE award-winning Lewis Glucksman art gallery has celebrated its 200,000th visitor by announcing more guided tours.

The striking gallery, which opened on University College Cork’s campus in October 2004, welcomed Clare family Pat McInerney, Maria Finucane and Olywyn McInerney through their doors on Tuesday.

On their third visit to the gallery, they were surprised when gallery director Fiona Kearney presented them with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and free gallery membership.
