A YOUNG woman killed in a fire was due to go on holiday to England today to celebrate her 20th birthday.

Naomi Hayes from Woodfarm, Palmerstown, Dublin, was visiting a friend in Oranmore Road, Ballyfermot on Wednesday night. Shortly before midnight, flames and thick smoke engulfed the house.

Four others, including three children, were rescued from the inferno and rushed to hospital.
