PDs eye partnership deal with Fianna Fáil

FINE GAEL’S slim chances of forming the next government faded yesterday after the PDs said their preference was to enter a coalition with Fianna Fáil.

Without the support of the PDs, Fine Gael will be unable to form a majority in the new Dáil.

PD president Tom Parlon made clear that his party’s preference was to continue working with Fianna Fáil.
