THOUSANDS of revellers are set to enjoy a free music festival in Bandon, Co Cork, this weekend which will feature headline acts like Duke Special, Director and Mary Black.

The annual festival, which was founded in 1996, will also promote a lot of home-grown talent, including Jennifer Lomasney.

Festival director Carmel Nyhan said the mix of established artistes such as Mary Black with new, up and coming talent likeDirector will appeal to a cross-section of festival fans.
