And for Michael McDowell, his memorable moment during the now infamous ‘Rumble in Ranelagh’ has proved more popular than his last five years in office.

A video of the outgoing Minister for Justice’s clash with Green Party TD John Gormley, just days before ballot day, had been viewed nearly 5,000 times by yesterday evening.
