18 charged as undercover drug raids target street dealers

A TOTAL of 18 people were charged yesterday with drugs offences following an undercover Garda operation in west Dublin.

Those arrested included two teenagers, one aged 18 and another youth who celebrated his 19th birthday on the same day he appeared in court.

Three of the defendants were refused bail and remanded in custody while the other 15 were granted bail.
