Garda hunt after boy’s sex attack

LIMERICK gardaí are investigating a brutal sexual assault on a teenage boy.

The attack was carried out on the boy aged 15 at about 10am on Tuesday as he walked along the banks of the Shannon near Plassey.

After he reported the attack to the gardaí, he was taken to the sexual assault unit at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital.
