Ahern still the most popular party leader

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern remains the most popular party leader, but there is growing dissatisfaction with his government.

The poll shows that Mr Ahern continues to enjoy the best personal satisfaction ratings, with 56% of respondents saying they are either “very satisfied” or “fairly satisfied” with his performance.

Thirty-two per cent say they are “fairly dissatisfied or very dissatisfied”, while 11% say they are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. One per cent say they don’t know.
