Crash victim’s family hit out at health service

FAMILY members of a car crash victim waiting seven days for vital hospital treatment yesterday hit out at the health service.

The family of David Nevin, 19, have been seeking a bed in the Mater Hospital for seven days now. The young man was involved in a car accident last Sunday morning outside Carlow and was due to attend his sister’s wedding today.

David has been treated in St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, since the accident.
