Recycle old mobiles in return for computer equipment

OLD mobile phones and printer cartridges can be recycled in return for computers and other equipment in a new element of a successful schools programme.

Computer equipment worth more than €10 million has been invested under supermarket chain Tesco’s Computers for Schools initiative over the past decade.

The programme has helped deliver more than half a million pieces of equipment to schools since its launch in 1997, and its latest promotion is running for the next 10 weeks.
