British must investigate findings, says Ahern

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern has said it is absolutely essential that the British government examine the report’s findings and fully co-operate with all investigations into the serious issues that have arisen.

Mr Ahern, who had been in contact with the British government yesterday, said he would fully support the justice committees call for a full debate in the Dáil and Seanad on collusion.

“The findings in this report regarding collusion are deeply troubling and a matter of most serious concern. They paint a very disturbing picture,” he said.
