FOUR Cork men jetted out to Florida yesterday to represent Ireland at one of the world’s top international yacht races.

Skipper Diarmuid Foley, from Ballintemple, will lead the Irish challenge on board his yacht, Mammy! in the 2006 Mumm 30 World Championship in Miami next week.

His crew, including David Meagher from Carrigaline, Hugh Cassidy from Crosshaven and Bernard Fitzpatrick from St Patrick’s Hill, will be up against 28 boats from 10 countries in what is described as one of the Formula 1 events in yacht racing.
