Molested girls ‘waking with nightmares’

THE distraught parents of two children molested by a young man at a quiet estate in North Dublin, said their daughters were waking up with nightmares.

Appealing for people’s help in finding the man who attacked the four and six-year-old girls at Cherry Park, Swords, Mark, the father of the four-year-old, said his daughter had a bad night on Saturday and woke up at 4am.

“She came out crying, saying she was having bad dreams about the bold man, that’s what she was calling him, the bold stranger, and started saying sorry daddy for causing any trouble, starting to blame herself. It’s devastating to hear that from a four-year-old child.”
