Doctors urged to support Shannondoc

A RENEWED appeal went out to Limerick city GPs yesterday to reconsider their refusal to join the Shannondoc co-op which provides out-of-hours cover in Clare, North Tipperary and Co Limerick.

There are 128 doctors in Shannondoc.

However, Limerick city’s 70 GPs say they have their own arrangements for night and weekend cover which works well.
