SOLICITOR Denis Murnaghan told the Mahon Planning Tribunal yesterday he warned backers, of an industrial project near Dublin Airport, “to have nothing to do” with lobbyist Frank Dunlop.

“In my mind, I felt the way Mr Dunlop was doing business was not quite proper,” Mr Murnaghan said. “I didn’t think it was wise. I had my suspicions.”

He suspected Mr Dunlop paid councillors, Mr Murnaghan told tribunal lawyer Pat Quinn SC, but he had not discussed his suspicions with his clients.
