Deaths of men found in house not suspicious

THERE are understood to have been no signs of suspicious activity at a Dublin house where two men were found unconscious yesterday and later died in hospital.

Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating the discovery of the pair at a house in the Westhaven Estate on Hartstown Road between 4pm and 5pm yesterday.

An ambulance had been called to the scene, possibly in relation to a drugs overdose, and the gardaí were then alerted. One man was in his 30s and the other in his 20s.

They were taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital where both were pronounced dead.

The scene was said by gardaí to show no signs of criminal or sinister activity and a decision on whether a criminal investigation will be launched is not likely until after post mortem examinations`.
