Consultants to receive a further €10m for PPARS

CONSULTANTS working on the troubled PPARS payroll system will get more than half of the €18m spent on the discredited project this year, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny, claimed yesterday.

He revealed that over €10m of the funding will go towards the consultants who have already made a fortune from the project.

The controversial health payroll system for up to 100,000 health service employees was suspended last year following concerns about its cost and effectiveness.
