Irishman among 49 passengers killed in Kentucky plane crash

AN IRISHMAN was among the 49 people killed in a plane crash in Kentucky, USA, on Sunday.

He was Michael Ryan, a native of Murroe, Co Limerick, who had been living in the US for many years.

He was a brother of Murroe publican, Thomas Ryan, owner of the Valley Inn in the village.
