Trapeze artist killed in fall

A YOUNG trapeze artist fell to his death before a packed audience at last night’s performance of the Russian Royal Circus in Co Clare.

The man was performing a flying trapeze-clown act at the 8pm show in Scariff.

While suspended in a cage without a safety net, he fell almost 30 feet.
