Love is the law: Jude and Sienna spotted in Cork

HE may be more used to Cold Mountain but British movie heart-throb Jude Law settled for a reasonably warm holiday in the comfort of East Cork this week.

The star of such movies as Enemy at the Gates and Road to Perdition was in Ireland with his on-off girlfriend Sienna Miller, herself a star of the big screen having appeared in a number of films, including Alfie, with Law.

The couple were spotted at Aunty Biddy’s Pub in Cloyne on Wednesday night.

Yesterday, they were snapped strolling down the main street of the picturesque seaside town of Ballycotton, eating ice cream bought from the local shop.

However, their other dietary intake was probably a little more refined if they ate at the Ballymaloe House Hotel, where they are believed to have stayed.

Owned by renowned chef Darina Allen, the hotel boasts an award-winning restaurant using locally produced ingredients.

There the couple could have availed of an outdoor swimming pool, small golf course, a tennis court or woodland walks.

Management at the hotel do not reveal guests’ identity and so would not confirm whether the famous pair had stayed there.

Staff at the four-star Bayview Hotel in Ballycotton where they were also rumoured to have visited, said they had not seen the couple.

The couple have rarely been spotted together recently.

Relations between Law and Miller have been strained in the past and they were thought to have split completely after Law was rumoured in the media to have had an affair with nanny Daisy Wright.

There was no sign in East Cork of his three children from his marriage to Sadie Frost, from whom he split before dating Miller.
