British group warns tourists of Irish roads

ONE of Britain’s largest motoring organisations has warned tourists that Ireland has some of the most dangerous roads for holidaymakers in Europe.

The RAC claims that Ireland is among the Top Five EU holiday destinations for unsafe driving conditions.

Ireland is ranked the fourth most dangerous country in terms of poor road safety after Greece, Portugal and Spain — countries which all attract millions of foreign tourists, according to the RAC.
