Red Kettle company seeks home in new development

WATERFORD theatre company Red Kettle has confirmed it is in negotiations with KRM Construction Partnership — the consortium behind plans for a major retail, tourism and leisure development in Waterford city centre — about finding a permanent home in the development.

This would include rehearsal rooms and outdoor performance space for Red Kettle and its children’s company, Little Red Kettle.

The confirmation came as Little Red Kettle’s latest production — The Island of Lost Children by Ben Hennessy — premiered at the Theatre Royal in Waterford last night.
