Route of €100m highway to be revealed by engineers today

THE preferred route for part of the most expensive highway ever planned for Cork will be unveiled this morning.

Engineers will brief politicians on their reasons for selecting the route for the northern section of the €100 million Northern Ring Road at an information session in the city centre. The plans will then go on public display.

The massive highway will connect the N20 Cork to Mallow road and the Glanmire bypass with roads to west and south-west Cork.
