HSE accused of politicising medical card information

FINE GAEL leader Enda Kenny last night accused Health Service Executive (HSE) officials of playing politics by directing people seeking information on medical cards to a Fianna Fáil/PD website.

Mr Kenny has written to HSE chief executive Professor Brendan Drumm to complain about six incidents of the practice.

The HSE strongly denied that members of the public were being told to access the party political website rather than the executive’s own.
