Ryanair muzzles safety claims website

THE operators of a website, which highlighted allegations that several Ryanair flights recently landed in heavy fog at Stansted Airport in breach of safety limits, have been threatened with legal action by the airline.

The internet allegations led to an official investigation being launched by the Irish Aviation Authority.

Around 30 flights, scheduled to land at Stansted on the night of April 24, diverted to other airports in the London area due to fog.
