A MOTHER-OF-THREE in need of a life-saving double organ transplant was told by a fellow patient that her operation has been put on hold.

Marion Blair, who has been waiting four years for a kidney and pancreas transplant, has been suspended from Beaumont Hospital’s waiting list as her surgeon is on leave.

The 45-year-old said no one else in the country was trained to carry out the specialist procedure.
