Public plead for more gardaí to stop street thugs
A new Labour Party survey on anti-social behaviour has again highlighted the public’s plea for more gardaí on the beat. The survey in the city also highlights the need for more public lighting, more facilities for young people, better design of estates and a lack of parental control.
Cllr Jack Walsh of the Labour Party, says that the findings of the Labour Party Survey on Anti-social behaviour is in line with the experience of many communities in Waterford. The survey was taken up in urban communities across nine constituencies.
