Coach firm denies prior dispute with driver

The owners of the coach last night denied there had been a dispute with the driver.

In a statement, Dualway Coaches Ltd said: “We express our sympathy with the deceased woman’s family and friends. Those shocked or injured by the incident are also in our thoughts and we wish them a full recovery.”

It added: “There was no prior indication that anything like this may happen as there was no ongoing row, dispute or disagreement between Dualway Coaches Ltd and the driver.”
