MICHAEL McCONVILLE vividly remembers the clothes his mother was wearing when she was dragged out the door of the family home more than three decades ago.

During an emotionally-charged moment yesterday, Michael, aged 11 when his mother was abducted, identified part of the clothing.

Eight of Jean McConville's children, now aged in their 30s and 40s, gathered at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk for the post mortem. It revealed a bullet wound to the back of the skull and that the remains were those of a woman of small stature.
