MEMBERS of Limerick City Council at their monthly meeting yesterday paid tribute to Kay Cregan, who died after undergoing plastic surgery in New York.

She was a senior official with the council.

Mayor Michael Hourigan said the late Mrs Cregan had joined Limerick Corporation, as it was then known, from Dublin Corporation, in 1991. At that time she held the position of Assistant Staff Officer.
