100 not out - Castleknock impresses with top score

THREE sessions of the Thomas Crosbie Holdings School Quiz took place last evening at the Montrose Hotel in Dublin producing an exciting competition.

In the first session, Tallaght Community School had a close win over Mercy College, Dalkey on a score of 98 to 90 points.

In the second session, St Patrick’s Cathedral Grammar School scored a much more impressive and emphatic victory over Balbriggan Community College.

The most impressive performance of the evening was that of Castleknock College who scored an impressive 100 points in the third session.

All three winners now proceed to the second round proper.
