Former ISPCC worker suspect in alleged rape

A FORMER employee of the ISPCC has been questioned by the gardaí investigating the alleged rape of a young boy 20 years ago.

The investigation started after a man walked into a garda station and made the complaint. As a result, a man was arrested last week and questioned at length about the accusation.

He was later released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions who will eventually decide whether there are grounds for criminal proceedings.
