Clarification

IN an article published in the Irish Examiner on March 9, 2004, under the headline, Film Maker Objects to Waterfront Holiday Village, a suggestion was made that Neil Jordan had not sought a covenant from a holiday village developer that a swimming pool be provided in the scheme to which the public would have access.

Mr Jordan has asked us to clarify that such a covenant was repeatedly sought and that the sole reason for his planning appeal was that no guarantee was given that the swimming pool be built.
