AN INDEPENDENT economic consultancy has concluded that the job security of Aer Rianta employees cannot be guaranteed under the Government’s proposal to break up the company.

The preliminary analysis of the Government's business plan for the Aer Rianta break-up also makes it clear that there are a number of serious inadequacies in Transport Minister Seamus Brennan's proposal.

News of the findings comes as Aer Rianta holds its annual general meeting today at which it will announce falling profits.
