Clarification – Mercer Human Resource Consulting

On July 6 an article headlined ‘Price hike may force patients to forgo insurance’ incorrectly attributed a quote – “In particular effects of such payments on competition and on the dominance of the incumbent have not been measured” – to Mercer Human Resources Consulting.

The comment was in reference to the recent decision by the Health Minister not to introduce risk equalisation as recommended by the Health Insurance Authority. The statement was made by VIVAS Health in a submission to the Health Insurance Authority.
