School bomb hoax sparks investigation

GARDAÍ are continuing their enquiries after one of the country’s largest schools was the subject of three hoax bomb alerts in less than a week.

The school’s 1,200 students and around 100 staff had to be evacuated on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, and again on Monday morning.

However, there was no bomb threat last Friday morning after some teachers stayed in the school overnight on Thursday.
