FF did not mislead voters, says Ahern

THE Taoiseach launched his first counter-attack on opposition criticism yesterday insisting Fianna Fáil had not misled voters.

The opposition has used the first anniversary of the general election to remind voters of the litany of Fianna Fáil’s broken promises.

Fine Gael and Labour have also accused Fianna Fáil of conning the public by not coming clean about major cutbacks after the election.
