Pilots threaten strike action

AER LINGUS is facing a fresh crisis after pilots, concerned about redundancies, yesterday threatened strike action.

IMPACT, the pilots' union, insisted industrial action will not be implemented provided Aer Lingus honours existing agreements.

The threat of industrial action will hang over the company from midnight next Friday.
