Armed raiders still at large

The men, wearing balaclavas, and armed with a sawn-off shotgun, a handgun and a hatchet, entered the bank in Lismore at around 4.15pm and held up the seven staff.

They took 70,000 from a safe behind the counter and a second safe at the back of the bank, before making their getaway in a wine-coloured Mazda 626, registration 92 D 28307.
