Taxi row led to man being stabbed, say gardaí

A ROW over a taxi led to a stabbing incident in which a 41-year-old man was seriously injured, gardaí in Limerick confirmed yesterday.

The victim received a number of stab wounds to the upper body about 3.15am when he was attacked at the taxi rank in Thomas Street.

Investigating gardaí at Henry Street Station are examining CCTV video footage in the hope of identifying the victim’s assailant.
