The mother of two boys, who seriously injured her right hand in her home last weekend, eventually clambered onto a trolley on Tuesday evening.

Tuesday was a busy day in Dublin's Beaumont Hospital with 36 patients on trolleys awaiting admission one had been waiting since Sunday afternoon. Yesterday there were 24 patients on trolleys. Some, like Therese, are on trolleys in the middle of the floor and have no privacy.
