Plan to move civil service ‘is on track’

DECENTRALISATION of the civil service is on track, CPSU general secretary Blair Horan told his union’s annual conference yesterday.

The programme to relocate almost 6,000 jobs will be successfully completed in five or six years, he told delegates in Galway.

Not only had their grades been enthusiastic supporters but they were oversubscribed for most locations, he said.
