Moves to form alcohol-free club in Killarney

IN an effort to provide an alcohol-free environment in which young people can enjoy themselves, moves are being made to form a No Name Club in Killarney.

Up to 40 such clubs are operating around the country and a club established in Tarbert, Co Kerry, a year ago, is reported to be running successfully.

Kilkenny hurling legend Eddie Keher, Fr Tommy Murphy and Eamon Doyle started the No Name Club movement in the marble city and now believe there is probably a greater need for it than ever before.
