Book replays Munster’s greatest triumph

FIRST there was the rugby match, then the play, and now the book.

Limerick-born journalist Alan English has explored every aspect of the most famous rugby game ever contested on Irish soil: the day Munster beat the All Blacks at Thomond Park on a glorious October afternoon in 1978.

In the course of 170 interviews, English has spoken to all the principals, both on and off the field.
