Labour pushes for Martin’s resignation

LABOUR’s call for Health Minister Micheál Martin to resign was back by angry delegates at their annual conference over the weekend.

Mr Martin is incapable of delivering a world class health service promised by Fianna Fáil before the last general election, Labour's Health spokeswoman Liz McManus said.

"Minister Martin promised more than €1 billion and was only capable of delivering €700 million this is his record, so weak, so dishonest that it is time for him to go," Ms McManus said.
