Missing mother: family in plea for help
So, too, have the gardaĂ in Tallaght who are anxious to trace the whereabouts of Lynette McKeown, 19, who left her Dublin home to visit a fortune-teller last Friday and has not been seen since.
Lynette was last seen at 9.30pm on August 13 when she left her home in Birchwood Heights, Tallaght.
The missing woman is described as being five feet, four inches in height; of thin build; with a fair complexion and long brown hair with a fringe. She has blue eyes. When last seen she was wearing blue jeans, a blue denim jacket, white Nike air max runners, a silver chain and blue loop earnings.
Her boyfriend, Michael Murphy, said that Lynette would never voluntarily leave their 20-month-old daughter Kelly.
âI havenât slept for the past number of nights,â he said.
Lynette was âin good spiritsâ when she left home on Friday to meet a tarot cards reader.
The couple had made plans to take their child to a playgroup on the following day.
Her family believe she may have been waiting for a bus outside Tallaght hospital sometime on Friday evening. Her widowed mother Carol, who has seven children, could not explain her daughterâs disappearance.
âI think the worst every time the phone rings,â her mother said.
âItâs not like her. She never did anything like this before and she would never leave her baby.
âIf she had a row with anyone in the family she would have phoned me or her sister.
âShe never suffered from depression.
âMy youngest daughter was out with her during the week and there was nothing wrong,â said Mrs McKeown.
Anyone with information about Lynette is asked to ring the gardaĂ in Tallaght on 01-6666000.
