Family escape from house blaze thanks to quick-thinking neighbour

TWO boys were in a serious condition yesterday after a fire engulfed their home in north Dublin.

The brothers were among a family of five who escaped following the intervention of a quick-thinking neighbour.

Pat Donoghue and his partner Marie, who is seven months’ pregnant, and children Patrick, 13; Sinéad, 12 and Seán, 7, were recovering in hospital last night.
